B350: The best ITX motherboard
With the ASRock Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming ITX/ac you can start putting together a Ryzen system. The motherboard offers a rather average list of ITX specifications: 1 PCI-e x16 slot, two memory slots, four SATA ports and one M.2 slot. This makes it possible to compose an excellent all-round system with a separate video card, sufficient working memory and storage.
However, for the average price of 130 dollars ASRock delivers excellent equipment on this basis. We find a Realtek ALC1220 audio codec and Intel wired and wireless network facilities. Three fan connections are common on this size, and the 8-phase power supply gives confidence to combine this board with a heavier Ryzen processor. There are also comments: the WiFi speed is modest (433 Mbit/s), USB 3.1 is absent.
If you are going to build a heavier PC for multi-threading or gaming with a Ryzen 5 2600(X) or Ryzen 7 2700(X), then this motherboard is a great base. Make sure the bios is updated to support the second generation of Ryzen processors; many shops do this (almost) for free if you ask for it when you order.
