ASRock X299E-ITX/ac review: Skylake-X on mini-ITX?!

18 cores on 17 x 17 cm, ASRock makes it possible

Benchmarks (USB 3.1)

Since USB 3.1 is not a part of the chipset, the motherboard manufacturers have to use extra controller chips in order to support the new interface. We use the Sandisk Extreme 900 960GB, the fastest external SSD available at the time of writing, to test the speed of this interface.

Unfortunately, the ASRock X299E-ITX/ac 3.1 speeds are not as good as those of their own Killer SLI/ac and Gaming K6, but we still find the bars in the upper half of the graphs.
