Benchmarks: 3D rendering (Cinebench / Blender)
To measure the performance of 3D rendering, we first of all use the officially supplied benchmarks of the open-source Blender 3D rendering software. In addition, we also run the well-known Cinebench 15 benchmarks, both multi-threaded and single-threaded. Both Blender and Cinebench are known for their ability to scale workloads optimally on processors with multiple cores.
The i7 4790K is slightly slower in both Blender and Cinebench 15 than the i5 8400. In Blender, the i5 4670K is just ahead of the Ryzen 3 1300X, while in Cinebench it is overtaken.
