Even though the market for air coolers has been stagnating, this isn't the case for the water cooler market. Manufacturers are still very eager to release new water coolers. In this review we're taking a look at all-in-one water coolers. You could also opt for a custom water cooler. In general these are much more expensive, but they also perform much better. An important practical reason to buy water coolers is that they allow you to overclock your processor heavily, but of course there are also other reasons. Some smaller Mini-ITX cases might not be able to house tall air coolers, but they tend to have enough room for a 120mm radiator. There are also people who prefer water coolers for aesthetic reasons.
