What if you would like to play the more demanding games on a laptop, but don't want to break your back lugging around a 3.8 kg 'portable' computer? MSI has come up with a compromise in the form of the MSI GE40-20C, a 14-inch laptop equipped with a GeForce GTX 760M graphics card.
There are lots of laptops on the market with smaller dimensions, in all shapes and sizes and price ranges. What most of them have in common is the fact that their graphics processor usually isn't the most powerful. They might come with a dedicated graphics card, but more often than not it's significantly faster than the integrated graphics from the processor.
The GE40 doesn't have the exaggerated gaming look, but it's clear you're not dealing with a run-of-the-mill business notebook when you see the 'devil eyes' around the MSI logo on top.
The matte 14-inch screen has a resolution of 1600x900. It's not Full HD, but still considerably more than the typical 1366x768 you get on most laptops. MSI also implemented a very nice keyboard, even if it's not a 'SteelSeries' one like on the GT70.
