Toshiba has announced an Ultra HD 4K-monitor at CES, but perhaps more interesting is the fact that the company simultaneously launched a matching workstation notebook; the Tecra W50.

Toshiba TUM-32PRO1 4K Professional Monitor

The product name reveals quite a bit: this 31.5-inch display has a 3840x2160 pixel UHD resolution and DIrect LED backlight. Adobe sRGB, BT.709, SMPTE-C and EBU colour modes are supported. The screen has an anti-glare coating which should make colours more vivid as well. Toshiba has integrated a '4K Super Resolution Engine', as well as colour calibration functionality, which uses a bundled USB-sensor. The screen also offers brightness and colour uniformity correction. To attach systems, Toshiba's TUM-32PRO1 4K Professional Monitor provides 2x HDMI 1.4 and a DisplayPort 1.2-interface. The screen can be used in both landscape and portrait mode.
