Galaxy unveils GTX 780 Ti 'Hall of Fame' with white PCB

By , source: Expreview

Six months ago, Galaxy announced the GeForce GTX 770 and GTX 780 'Hall of Fame' graphics cards. Nvidia recently introduced a faster chip, the GTX 780 Ti. This was cause for Galaxy to develop a new 'HOF' card, based on the latest GPU.

The PCB of the new addition is identical to that of the earlier GTX 780 HOF. The characteristic white colour also makes a return. The card has a large cooler with 8 mm thick nickled copper heatpipes. A 10-phase VRM is present with a CHiL CHL8318 controller. Two 8-pin PCI-Express connectors are required for power.

Galaxy's GeForce GTX 780 Ti HOF will come overclocked out of the box. Although the manufacturer hasn't provided exact details yet, it does claim that the card is the fastest GTX 780 Ti to date.
