Xigmatek has developed a completely white version of its Dark Knight processor cooler. The new model is dubbed the 'Frostbourne Edition' and features a ceramic coating which, as claimed by Xigmatek, optimises heat dissipation.

The Dark Knight Frostbourne Edition is a tower model; three 8 mm heatpipes transport excess heat from the CPU to the aluminium fins. The base of the cooler is in direct contact with the CPU, allowing for better cooling. The 120 mm XOF-F1251 fan ranges in speed from 800 to 1400 RPM, while displacing up to 60 CFM of air at a 16 dB(A) sound production. The cooler has dimensions of 120 x 50 x 159 mm, weighs 406 grams and should be suited for processors with a TDP of up to 160 watts.

The Xigmatek Dark Knight Frostbourne Edition has a recommended price of $50.
